یکی از راه‌های بهبود ارتباط صنعت و دانشگاه ساماندهی نیازهای و اولویت‌های پژوهشی صنایع و شرکت‌ها و همچنین آگاه کردن جامعه دانشگاهی از این نیازها می‌باشد. در همین راستا بخشی با عنوان نیازهای پژوهشی صنعتی و کاربردی در سامانه ارتباط جامعه و صنعت با دانشگاه (ساجد) راه‌اندازی شده است.
